The Social Networking Thought Process

I've come to figure out that facebook and myspace and blogs are not just social networking sites, but,how we as a generation will be remembered. Our pages, are where historians and socialologists will find our quotes, and they will be part of the future generations' view of us, and if technology continues to evolve at the pace it's currently going, what we call advanced, will eventually become a primitive form of technology, and people will look back at theese pages, to see what we as a culture were like, what define us as a generation, and as individuals. Our morals, our habits, what we've made of our language, and everything we're willing to post, will be (more so then than now) at the fingertips of the world. Look at your page, right now, does it resemble you? does it reflect who you are as a person? is it how you want people to view you?is it howyou want to be remembered? If you died tommorow, would you want people's memory of you to be what you posted as your facebook status? Your page is for talking about whats happing around you,and your views on; everyday life, along with your views of the world.Yes the occasional random phrase is perfectly fine, some may disagree when i say,but it seems like what is now deemed appropriate is what i consider soulless. no life, no displays of affection.
( may i just add, that there have been a few rules around me,and i have been yelled at for, showing affection or emotion towards another person, and it is ridiculous. PDA is not necessarily a bad thing, im not promoting you getting it on in the middle of the hallway in you're school, or in the mall, but there is nothing wrong with a kiss or hug between you and a loved one. everything should be situational,if you dont know someone, you are not meant to judge what is going on,obviously if there is screaming "NO!!" or violence involved, something bad is going on,and you should most likely stop whats going on,but being offended by seeing some kids in love means you're obviously just not very happy with your life, but i digres)
We are perhaps the most socially and technologically active generation yet, our revolution letters will be written, and we the children who will grow to lead the nation or end the world, will hopefully make the world better, and make it a better place.Americans, Japaneese, Mexicans, British, and all countries of the world will produce children that will make a difference in one person's life who, someone somehow will forever alter the world. Now look at your views, no, im not saying change them,im saying evaluate what you stand for. At some point, our revolution will begin at the point we think is necessary for it to begin. even if our thoughts and actions may be looked down upon from the begining, eventually we will reshape the world and all aspectects of life to suit our tastes and make shape it the way we want it. our laws, morals, customs and yes, even some of our religious ideals, will be changed, added, purposely forgotten or shunned by the majority. What we are now; what we are taught, what we teach, what we believe and how we live; define us as a people, And to change everything to make it the way we want it,we must be completely open and forward, no more of theese backhanded and underhanded sly, sneaky ways of twisting peoples views to prove your point in politics to pass bills, laws etc., that benefit you and not the people, wich is the entire point of a government for the people by the people, perhaps we need to make a fresh start.
But without being open and forward with our intents, things will not change from how they are now. So if you have something to show to one person be willing to share it with all(you dont necessarilly need too ) but its possible that you might, but anything can altar anything, directly or indirectly, and with any change, comes more change, and change is how we evolve, and we will always strive to change for the better. And what will follow that change, is not only to make the world better, and to evolve, not to be disconntent with everything, but to attempt to make the world in their image, hopefully its a pretty picture, and not a twisted image. We are all far from perfect, and hopefully no one claims to be, but our intentions to make a perfect world, are most likely just dreams, but if acheiveable, is a vision of greatness. the more common goal, a much more likely one,is to make a world where we can all function openly and properly, not without mistakes in life, but where we admit that we made our mistakes and learn and move on. a world where we can funtion happily, is a place where we can freely express our ideals and beliefs without being criticized or outcast for them. Of courseour ideas,or beliefs our morals our religious beliefs, etc. will be different from those that raised us to follow our dreams. the world that will be created by our ideas and beliefs will be changed by our children;and their children will change theirs. the world created by our ideas will not be perfect, we will find some way to find flaws, but we will always aspire to achieve perfection, we can never be 100% content, because otherwise we would never move on, and our lives would be wasted.im not sure who said it,but the words "revolution is evolution" are some of the most true words ever strung together i've ever heard, and its true; true poetry is simple yet heartfelt and true. the stronger the emotion behind the cause the stronger it will grow.Addmitting to our flaws and being open in sharing your ideas and recieving other's, are the first steps to becoming stronger as a single soul, and if we are strong as one,we are invincible while united. Many times in your life you will be told "you were born to lead" and its true, every single person is born to lead, but not all people will live up to their potential, so not everyone will grow up to be a leader, the bell curve says that those who are too lazy to do the work, that work will be done by the people who want to succeed. But every single person was born to make a difference in the world, that is point of living and being human. To be a leader is to have your mind set,but to be willing to learn and compromise for the good of all. All people may be able to lead, but not all people have the will to lead. TO be a leader is to know yourself well enough to have the wisdom to guide others. Maybe not all our potential will be reached, but at the very least,we should all aspire to chase our dreams, and make our lives, and the world, what we wish it to be.

  1. Now I want to rant!
I'm a very affectionate person as a lot of people know, and I'm judged for that. Just because you have physical contact with someone doesn't mean it's sexual. Some people assume that if you constantly hug someone that means your attracted to them, but the way I show affection is through contact. Even if I hug guys that all of a sudden makes me homosexual for some reason. What if it's just showing that you're their friend and you care about them and wanted to show that? rantrantrant.
